Intake Terms: Cyber Posture Assessment + AI Risk Check
(October 2026)
1. About this intake
1.1 The October 2026 intake (the Intake) is run by Blinx Cybersecurity, ABN 72 702 627 380, of Adelaide, South Australia (Blinx, we, us).
1.2 Through the Intake, we offer up to 5 Australian businesses a Cyber Posture Assessment + AI Risk Check (the Assessment) at a reduced intake rate.
1.3 By registering, you agree to these terms. If there is any conflict between these terms and anything on our website or social media, these terms apply.
1.4 Registering is free and does not oblige you to buy anything.
2. Who can register
2.1 To be eligible, you must:
- be registering on behalf of a business or not-for-profit operating in Australia, with an ABN
- be authorised to register on its behalf
- provide accurate details.
2.2 Only one registration per business will be considered. Duplicate registrations are treated as one.
2.3 Our employees and their immediate families, and businesses we already have an assessment agreement with, are not eligible.
2.4 This Intake is not a game of chance or a competition. Places are offered at our discretion under clause 4.
3. Registration period
3.1 Registrations open on Tuesday 6 October 2026 and close at 11:59pm ACDT on Friday 30 October 2026.
3.2 You can only register through the form at blinx.au/intake. Late or incomplete registrations may not be considered.
4. Places and selection
4.1 There are 5 places in this Intake.
4.2 We select businesses based on fit, then by date of registration where fit is similar. Fit includes the size of the business, how its IT is managed, and what it wants clarity on. We may contact you before selection to learn more about your business.
4.3 We decide selection at our discretion and do not have to give reasons.
4.4 We may offer fewer than 5 places if not enough eligible businesses register.
5. Invitations and claiming a place
5.1 We will email invitations to selected businesses on or around Monday 2 November 2026.
5.2 To claim your place, follow the steps in your invitation by 11:59pm ACDT on Friday 6 November 2026 (the Claim Deadline). This includes accepting our standard assessment agreement.
5.3 If you do not claim by the Claim Deadline, your invitation lapses and we may offer the place to another registrant. Replacement invitations have a claim period of 3 business days.
5.4 Invitations are for the business named in the registration and cannot be transferred.
6. Intake rate and what's included
6.1 From 1 October 2026, our standard price for the Cyber Posture Assessment is $5,500 (ex GST). The intake rate for the Assessment is $4,200 (ex GST), a saving of $1,300.
6.2 The intake rate covers one Assessment for one business. It does not cover any other Blinx service, follow-up assessments, or monthly services.
6.3 Cyber Posture Assessment. An independent, point-in-time assessment of your business's cyber security posture, benchmarked to SMB1001:2026, with alignment to the ASD Essential Eight noted where relevant. You receive a written report with prioritised findings and a walkthrough session.
6.4 AI Risk Check. Included at no extra cost for Intake businesses. From 1 October 2026 it is otherwise offered as a paid add-on. It is delivered through a third-party platform connected to your Microsoft 365 environment. It shows which AI tools and integrations are in use and highlights related risks, summarised as a section of your report.
6.5 AI Risk Check assumptions and limits. The AI Risk Check:
- requires a Microsoft 365 tenant and admin consent for the platform to connect
- is limited to what the platform can detect at the time it runs
- does not cover personal devices, personal accounts, or AI tools used outside your Microsoft 365 environment
- does not review AI vendor contracts, models or data handling in depth
is not legal advice, a Privacy Act compliance opinion, or certification against any AI standard or framework.
6.6 Blinx assesses and reports only. We do not perform remediation, recommend or resell vendors, or receive referral fees. Findings are provided for you and whoever manages your IT to act on.
7. Payment, scheduling and cancellation
7.1 We will issue a tax invoice when we deliver your report. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. No payment is required to claim your place.
7.2 Your Assessment must start by 31 December 2026. If it does not start by then because of delays on your side, we may cancel your place and the intake rate no longer applies.
7.3 You can reschedule once by giving us at least 5 business days' notice. We will agree a new time with you within the period in clause 7.2.
7.4 If you cancel after claiming your place but before the Assessment starts, there is no charge. If you cancel after it starts, we will invoice for the time spent at our consultant rate of $200 per hour (ex GST), capped at the intake rate. We will not charge licence fees for any tools used to scan your environment.
7.5 The Assessment is also governed by our standard assessment agreement, which you accept when claiming your place, and by our website Terms & Conditions at blinx.au/terms-conditions, including the limits on liability in them. If there is a conflict about the intake rate or claiming a place, these terms apply.
8. If you're not selected
8.1 If your business is not selected, or your invitation lapses, we will let you know by email.
8.2 You will have priority for our next intake. We do not guarantee when the next intake will run or that its terms or pricing will be the same.
8.3 You can book a Cyber Posture Assessment at the standard price at any time.
9. Privacy and communications
9.1 We collect and handle your details as described in our Intake Privacy Notice and our Privacy Policy at blinx.au/privacy-policy.
9.2 By registering, you agree that we may contact you about your registration, including selection, invitations and the next intake.
9.3 We will only send you other marketing emails if you tick the separate box on the registration form. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we action requests within 5 business days.
10. General
10.1 The intake rate has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for other services, and cannot be combined with any other offer.
10.2 We may change, suspend or cancel the Intake if something outside our reasonable control affects it. If we do, we will tell registrants and treat anyone who has already claimed a place fairly, including a refund of any amount paid for an Assessment we can't deliver.
10.3 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10.4 These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
